The latest addition to the Pro Team is Carlsbad surfer Ricky Whitlock! Recently back from Hawaii and a trip to Spain where he scored a solid mundaka swell and some mental waves: check out some pics of Ricky at the sick left in Europe on surfline.com. Tricky Ricky has been absolutely blowing up lately with a spread in the current issue of Transworld, a profile in Mundo Rad and a full page in this months Surfshot. Another new face to the Sun Diego Am team is Alexa Frantz. In her first full competitive year on the NSSA she currently has the ratings lead in the explorer girls division. She has also stepped it up this season, surfing above her age division in Explorer women's with a win earlier in the year and a 3rd place this past weekend at churches. Next time you're in the water and you see a 14 year old blonde girl with a big smile doing bigger turns than you, it's probably Alexa!
