 Sun Diego WINS the Electric So Cal Shootout!!! April 22 - May 31, 2009 The battles were relentless but Sun Diego absolutely destroyed the competition and also had little mercy for team Electric headed by Electric founders Bruce Beach, Mike Carter, and Don Dyer. Luckily for team Electric, we had the likes of the former Future of California Surfing and 100 time NSSA Winner now turned furniture designer Mike Todd helping us all out with our field positioning. Besides Mike’s help, Billy, Russ, and myself were absolutely useless out there. The games were as fun as it gets but again Team Sun Diego was absolutely EN FUEGO and could care less about who they faced on the course. Thank you Red E Surf, Spyder, and Sun Diego for winning their respective counties by slanging the most Electric Sunglasses. Awards: Best Fighting Rep Jordan Mead (San Diego): Do not judge a book by its cover. This guy came to play and was undoubtedly the most calm and collective rep on the course. He may be tall, he may be pale, but he sure knew how to fire his weapon. Best Attitude Jani Lange (Los Angeles): This rep is heating up the charts and moving up the rep food chain as we speak. He pretty much wins the best attitude award for anything he attends. Worst Paintballer Bruce Beach (Electric): This guy is probably the last person in the industry you would want to fight in a ring, but get him on the paintball course and it is absolute target practice. Best Hollow Man Mike Todd (Rhode Island / Laguna Beach / San Diego): Again, luckily for team Electric, this guy showed up to help the cause because as soon as the whistle below he was nowhere to be found. He may not have killed anyone or even shot at anyone but at least he did not get killed himself. LVP (Least Valuable Player) Joel Olenik (Orange County): There is no doubt Drake and his crew from Red E Surf were the favorites. The whole team brought custom guns.
