went down on Saturday, May 14th and the skating was crazy from beginning to end! The day started off with a little rain but the clouds cleared and the sun and skating were all shining for the rest of the day! All of our skate vendors were there to support the event with tons of giveaways, games and product previews as well. San Diego is known for producing some of the world's best skater's and the local talent came out and proved to us that the trend will definitely continue! The Pro/Am division was packed with over 40 participants. CBS Sports was out filming the college division, and thousands of spectators came out to watch it all go down throughout the entire day. But the story of the day was the $12,000 Pro Invitational with Nick Tucker coming in 3rd ($1500) Moose coming in 2nd with an amazing run($3000) and Greg Lutzka winning it for the second year in a row earning a big pay day of $7500!
