Sunday April 22nd was the first stop of the 2007 Sun Diego/Monster Energy Demo Series presented by FuelTV, or as I like to call it, The Shredillac Tour. Stop 1 featured the RVCA Team. The team had arrived and the course was ready, there was just one more fine detail to attend to before the demo could start. Jeff King doesn’t mind being a self-centered attention cow. He is, after al,l our Master of Ceremonies and if he wants to make 500 kids wait until he makes his kickflip melon over the Shredillac before letting the demo start, well who am I to interfere. He made it, it was sick, and the demo got underway. I knew it was going to be a good one when Ed Templeton instructed me to keep the metal tunes cranked. I could tell Ed was ready to shred and he wasted no time attacking every obstacle like only a seasoned pro can. Austin, Leo, and Keegan followed suit and I could see that Spanky and Raymond wanted to be out there shredding too, but their injuries prevented them. Special Appearances by Steve Shipler, Julian Davidson, Slash and a few other rippers added some extra spice to the demo. Another one for the books.
